Those climbs on television don’t look so steep – but how are they in real life? This was the question that kept bothering me as a fan of pro cycling. So, I decided to ride up Alp d’Huez myself. From this moment on I was infected, enchanted by the challenge of riding up those mighty French Alps and pushing through the pain. I’ve had been cycling in the Alps for several years with friends when I decided I wanted to share this experience with others. And with this, Feel le Tour was born!

Permanent pain going uphill, breathtaking views on the mountaintops, overtaking cars in serpentines on the way down, falling into bed exhausted but happier than ever and doing it all over again on the very next day. This is what riding the iconic Mountains of the Tour de France is all about. After doing it myself for a couple of years now, I can surely say it is an unreal expirience and one of the most fulfilling things to do. I could go on and tell you about it for hours, but I’d rather take you along and help you to make some of the caziest memories there are in cycling!
